FLAURR, Ira - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Rockville - Ira M. Flaurr 67, of 207 Indiana St., died Monday at 2:05 p.m. in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born Aug. 8, 1901 at Murdock, Ill., the son of Charles and Martha Bear Flaurr. He was a member of the Nyesville EUB Church and was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife Cleophia; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Zachary of Rockville, Mrs. Marjorie Byrd of Williamsport, Mrs. Joan Allison of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Virginia Rector of Buter; four sons, Ronald of Crawfordsville, Frank of Waveland, and John and Ralph, both of Rockville; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Rigdon of Rockville, Mrs. Ethel Martin of Clinton and Mrs. Margaret Wheatfill of Washington' three brothers, Lester of Alice, Tex., and Charley and Harry, both of Rockville; a half-brother Clarence Baer of Chalmers and 24 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Barnes Mortuary, with Rev. J. O. Trousdale officiating. Burial will be in New Discovery Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
